Telling the story of your big day

All the photographs we take at your wedding will fall into one of three main styles:

Storytelling photography

Storytelling

– Natural and genuine

Storytelling shots do exactly that – they help tell the story of your big day. Wedding photographers sometimes call this style “photojournalism” or “reportage”. These shots are very natural and genuine – the people in the shot usually won’t know they’re being photographed, but when you look back over these photographs in the years to come you’ll be able to tell exactly what the person in the shot was thinking. These shots are great for setting the scene and for conveying emotion.

Fine details photography

Fine details

– Uniquely yours

You spend so long planning your wedding down to the tiniest detail – we want to make sure we pay attention to all these little flourishes that make the day so uniquely yours. When you're showing your photographs to people who weren't at the wedding, these shots really help paint the picture of where your special day took place and what people were wearing.

Posed photography

Posed

– Inspiring

We set up our posed shots of you and your guests just like we would for a studio shoot with beautiful lighting. Inspired by the kinds of photographs you'd see in a magazine, these posed photographs show you, and your nearest and dearest, in the wedding location as if it were a proper photography studio.
